In 2017, after many years of creating sculptures from wood and stone, the long held concept of incorporating individually carved hair tresses into my wood figure sculptures was finally attempted.

I absolutely loved this new challenge and the resulting Wild Hair received much praise when exhibited.

Since that first conceptual piece I have developed the idea greatly, so far there are just 13 of these completely individual, unique sculptures.
